Mother's Day Mosaic Pendant

Spark Picassiette is a method of repurposing old China and pottery into something new. The class includes everything you will need to design and construct a rectangular pendant, but feel free to bring a ceramic or porcelain dish or beads from home that you want to repurpose.

Date Night - Wheel Throwing​

Handbuilt Illuminaries with Solar Lights
​
Making your own solar lights for the garden is an enjoyable project that will add a personal touch to your outdoor space. Decorative open designs and patterns will allow the lights to illuminate the garden in a spectacular way. Some lamps can be mounted on a pedestal or hung from a shepherd's hook for display.

Outdoor Chimes​

In this hands-on class, you'll craft a unique ceramic wind chime, blending art and sound. Learn how to shape and design your chimes using underglaze techniques, creating personalized patterns and colors. Guided by our instructors, you'll explore how to achieve the perfect balance of pitch and design. By the end, you'll have a custom ceramic wind chime that brings beauty and tranquility to your space. There are (2) different sessions in order to accommodate different age groups.

Mosaic Pixel Art Coasters
​
Create a pair of four-inch square coasters based on your favorite team logos, video game characters, emojis, or your own custom design. Learn how to glue your design to a prepared wood substrate and grout the final product so you can use your coasters in your family game room. Great gift to make for Father’s Day!

Bobble Head Figures​
​
Learn the art of making personalized clay bobbleheads. Whether you are a beginner or have some experinece with clay, our workshop is designed to guide you through the process of creating a unique and fun bobblehead. You can create a bobblehead that resembles a loved one, a pet, or even a fun character. You'll learn how to exaggerate facial features and expressions to capture the playful nature of the bobblehead. After the basic form is complete. you'll get to paint and add detailed touches to your bobblehead.

Creative Clay Camps for Kids​
Spark your child's imagination through clay! Your kids will enjoy a week of exploring the possibilities of clay while learning different hand building methods. Our professional instructors will guide them through various techniques such as slab, pinch pot and coil. They will add creative embellishments and glaze their artwork while seeing firsthand the workings of a functional pottery studio. There are two (2) sessions to accommodate kids of different ages.

Fairy Garden Houses​
​
Create a miniature fairy house to add to your garden. Students will learn slab clay construction to build a cylindrical house decorated with stamped designs. Cut out windows can let light from battery operated candles or led fairy lights to add that touch of whimsy to your garden.

Mosaic Garden Pavers
Design a custom mosaic stepping stone for your home or garden. All the materials will be supplied to create a hexagon shaped paver that will add a splash of color to your yard. Feel free to bring any broken pottery to repurpose, but we’ll have plenty available. Participants will learn how to use hand cutting tools to piece together their design during the morning session and then after a lunch break there will be a grouting demonstration and time for you to grout your project.

Mommy/Daddy and Me – Enjoy a pottery session with your child. Parents, here is your chance to create a special memory. Spend a creative session with your child creating a memorable piece of pottery. Project ideas will be offered or you can create your own. Parents will assist their kids and kids may assist their parents. All are guaranteed to make it a fun time.

Sgraffito Underglaze Workshop​
​
This workshop provides the participant the opportunity to create a unique mandala patterned design using the sgraffito technique. Underglaze is applied to leather hard clay and then the design is carved through the underglaze exposing the clay body creating the contrasting design. 10 inch plates will be provided for each participant to practice building a mandala design. All materials and tools will be provided.
